Artists - Books - Videos - CDs - List all Blues genres - List all genres

Ragtime blues is mainly rooted in the East Coast, and is also referred to as Peidmont Blues. But the bluesmen travelled, and the music with them. So I will not tie the style to a specific region. Many blues guitarists played at least some "rags" on their repertoire. A Texas-player like Blind Lemon Jefferson had his "Hot Dogs", and the Delta blues-man Robert Johnson played "They're Red Hot", just to name two well known blues guitaristst that did not come from the East Coast. But the main artists are Rev Gary Davis, Blind Blake, Blind Boy Fuller and Big Bill Broonzy. So go to the web pages for these artists for more information and material.
